A Maine Coastal Cruiser – The Ellis 36 “Queen of the Cove”

“Queen of the Cove” is an Ellis 36 Extended Top Cruiser, built in Southwest Harbor, Maine by Don Ellis and the Ellis Boat Company crew. Accommodations include sleeping for two forward and optionally two more in the shelter.  The “Queen” is powered with a 420 Yanmar, which gives her a nice cruise of 15+ knots with a top-end over 20 knots. She also has a generator, heat/air, an enclosed freshwater head (with holding tank and macerator), separate shower, and full galley with a 2-burner cooktop, micro/oven, refrigerator, and freezer. Tender with an outboard on davits included. Two new Garmin plotters were added in 2021. This boat is also extremely quiet – designed with comfortable cruising in mind. $8,250 a week – July 1 to Labor Day
$6,500 a week – June and after Labor Day

Second continuous week discounted $1,250
Additional continuous weeks discounted $1,750
* Discounts do not apply to the reduced off-season rate

In general, the shorter the charter, the higher the daily rate.
